Jennifer Hillman-Jackson
I am a Research Associate in the Nekrutenko Lab at Penn State University where I am a part of the Galaxy Team.
My role is to help our community get the most out of the research possibilities Galaxy offers. You will likely read something I wrote in the News Brief or in this wiki or use data that I helped to organize. You might watch a Screencast where I explain "how to". But, mostly you'll find me on the mailing lists giving tool advice, trouble-shooting tips, and analysis support.
I've been with the Galaxy project for close to two years now, and was a fan for some time before that. I came to the Galaxy project with over 16 years of bioinformatics experience from working in both industry (Incyte) and academics (UCSC). My background is in scientific informatics, genomic product design, project management, and application science.
